Mountain Club is a pristine oasis that always brings home good
thoughts. I have enjoyed Cheat Mountain Club in several capacities.
It has been an ideal location for a business retreat, great
atmosphere for recreation oriented small group work, faboulous
weekend getaway on personal time and an unforgetable setting
for a wedding weekend. I think of the great fireplace, the
pristine river out the back door, the great food, and learning
to cross country ski in the full moonlight. I think it has
been too long since I have been to Cheat."

is one of the most unique experiences I have ever had. The
lodge is an excellent place to get away from it all in very
comfortable, relaxed surroundings. The staff at CMC always
treats me and my family like part of their own family and go
out of their way to make sure we have everything we need. The
fly fishing here is the best in the state and the river and
surrounding mountains have to be some of the most beautiful
to be found anywhere. I plan on making many more return trips
to the mountain to take part in this experience to refresh
myself from our modern, fast-paced world."

Gracie, Leslie and Greta,
As we come to the end of our
third vacation here at Cheat Mountain Club, I can only say
that Cheat Mountain Club only gets better and better. We
love the fact that we rise in the morning to the sounds of
the river and the smells of huge country breakfasts, we love
the fact that there is no TV, phone or other distraction
from the beauty that CMC offers.
Carolyn, Gracie, Leslie and Greta have made us feel like we are part
of the Cheat Mountain family and their hospitality has been greatly
appreciated.
The kids, ranging in age from five to twelve, all found plenty to do
to make it a great vacation. You should be proud of the fact that you,
the staff, make CMC all that it is. The natural surroundings only serve
to enhance the atmosphere. We will return for more great meals, great
company and great outdoor adventures here at CMC. Thank you for making
it a great time for all."

Gentlemen,
I want to express my appreciation
and compliments to the entire staff at Cheat Mountain Club.
Our entire group, from young children, teens and adults, had
a wonderful time thanks in no small part to the friendly and
helpful efforts of Carolyn, Gracie, Greta, Leslie and Jason.
The meals were, as usual, all fabulously delicious, complete
and offered something for everyone's taste. The facilities
show care and attention to preserving the natural ambiance
of the lodge within the beautiful mountain setting. We never
lacked for activities or equipment to enjoy this wonderful
place. We will certainly be sharing our memories with our friends
for sometime.
